IT'S DONE!  Our India Team has helped us gather pictures and video of the wonderful work that it is doing to make disciples and we have our first video featuring one of our field teams. Here are some amazing behind-the-scene notes: 1) Because India is on lockdown and there were road blockades, the production team had to ride bicycles with their equipment into the village.  2) The video features a group of workers in a field and, although we did not give instructions on what types of shots to gather, these clips were perfect images to use as we describe the Great Commission and "field" workers who are doing God's work. 3) One of the shots shown above has a young woman reading scripture and after a bit of research, we discovered that she was reading Psalm 13:3 which says "Consider and answer me, O Lord my God; light up my eyes, lest I sleep the sleep of death." (ESV). It was the perfect verse for the title and theme of our video.  God is lighting up the eyes of people near and far.  I hope you enjoy this video as much as we enjoyed putting it together for you!

As mentioned last month, one of our Discovery Groups in Delhi, India, is being held among a group of young families that belong to the Zomi, an ethnic group that is from Myanmar (formerly Burma). Please continue to pray for the Zomi people and our lead disciple-maker, who is recovering from typhoid.

Sometimes I am surprised how quickly God's truth gets shared after someone discovers it.  I am meeting weekly with a group of Tanzanian pastors and we are going through the Creation to Christ series together so they can see how the inductive method works.  We had just finished studying the creation story a week before and I received a message from the lead pastor informing me that he was invited to speak to a conference of religious leaders, many of whom were Muslim.  He decided to share what he has been learning about God in Genesis.  Namely, that God wants to share His creation with us, delegate His authority to us, and meet our deepest needs as He did for Adam when God gave him Eve.  The leaders came up to him afterwards and said "This is true!"
